Ship-in-Bottle and Seashell Museum - always worth a visit

Yesterday and today: Ships-in-bottle
We present you more than 200 old and new ships-in-bottles in various types of bottles and from all over the world. The museum is hosted inside our house. You will find all kind of ships-in bottles: From historical models, such as Viking ships or the Gorch Fock, up to very small ships-in-bottles which are hosted inside light bulbs and for which you should actually use a magnifying glass to look at.

How is the ship put into the bottle?
It is, of course, important to know how the ship is put into the bottle. We also show you the instruments and different phases of construction in order to give you a complete overview about these nautical miniatures.

Seashells from all over the world
In the Ship-in-Bottle and Seashell Museum you will also find about 1000 seashells, snails etc. from all the oceans of the world. Antiques all about the sea and navigation complete our programme.
